Progress Overview
The Lake County Division of Transportation continues to make progress on the Hunt Club Road and Washington Street Improvement Project. While construction began in Fall 2024, unforeseen utility conflicts and relocation requirements have shifted the timeline. Roadway and intersection work is now expected to conclude in Summer 2026.
Note: Due to significant ComEd utility issues, the new traffic signals at Orchard Valley Drive and Hunt Club Road will not be operational until Fall 2026. However, the intersection will fully reopen to traffic by the summer utilizing temporary signals.
